my blogger days 

Time flies, I've been writing as a blogger since 2009, Oops :P

I started as a hobby, like many other bloggers, sharing bilingual daily interests. Leisure reading has always been my goal, that's why Coffee Break (by Protowork) was the original Blog Name. 

Those days I used the standard template & domain of blogspot.com. It was a template designed with a bird background that I liked a lot. However, I decided to transfer Coffee Break to our company blog Cocoa Design Life with a custom domain cocoadesign.net, and a newly designed template by my partner Rickeeter. 

The first icon we used was a graphic chair because we were in the Interior design field, make sense right? Therefore the blog was more design-oriented at that moment.

In 2020, after my Paris trip, we decided to step down from design and move on to writing & book publishing. It was the first year we introduced Oiseau Distrait as the author. A new color scheme with a new bird graphic was incorporated into the Cocoa Design Life blog. 

This year in 2024, twenty years after we first started our business, fifteen years of blogging, and five years from writer to an author, oiseaudistrait.com is finally set up, that brings me an idea maybe it is the best moment for Cocoa Design Life to say Goodbye!

It was such a treasure blogger journey that marked different pages in my/ our life. This author's website is not only a platform between Oiseau & readers, it's also an album for all the valuable memories.
